ITOKI DESIGN CC TABLE BY JEFF MILLER
WINS INTERIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE’S BEST OF YEAR 2009
**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**
December 4, 2009, New York, NY -- Itoki Design’s CC table by Jeff Miller won the Best of Year 2009 award for the Furniture / Contract Table category last night at a ceremony held at the Guggenheim Museum. A refined sculptural corner is the aesthetic and structural focal point where other simple elements come together on the CC table. The result is a uniquely cohesive look from modular parts. Many table designs endeavor to bring together components at a resolved corner, but the CC table excels beyond others.
The horizontal profiles in aluminum have a tall section for superior stability, but their orientation at a 45 degree angle allows them to escape a direct view. In this way they seem to disappear beneath the table top, while providing a comfortable angled edge for the user’s forearm. The framed periphery allows many panel materials, as well as real wood and glass, to be used for the work surface without actually seeing the edge of the material. The interior of the profile includes a continuous threaded rail to receive screws at any point along for easy addition of accessories.
The CC table is offered in numerous set sizes, but as the top is CNC milled to order, it can be modified for custom sizes along with the lengths of the horizontals.
